Thor's Hammer in the Alps
Joh. Adolf Heyl
Translated by D. L. Ashliman
A "T" has been inscribed above the front door of several houses in
Unterinn [in the South Tyrolian Alps] for protection against evils of
all kinds, especially storms. Formerly this custom could be observed on
nearly every house. (Is this symbol based on Thor's hammer?)
